This is Anant, Geeta, Ishanaa, Akshar, and Ashesh- a really fun family I got to photograph over Thanksgiving at their home just outside of Minneapolis. Their house actually backs up to the zoo, which I thought was the coolest thing ever!

One of my favorite things about doing photography is getting to meet new people through it. And that was also one of my favorite things about doing mini-sessions this year in the Twin Cities. I had not met Gabriele & Justin before we did this photo session, and it was so fun getting to know them. Gabriele is a professional runner (so cool, right?) and Justin is in med school right now. It was fun getting to hear their engagement story and the upcoming wedding. Good luck you two!!!
Here’s another mini-session from Nashville. One of my favorite families ever and one you might have seen on the blog already. My friends Betty Ashton and Aaron and their amazing little boy Harrison are such a cute family. It had been months since I had seen Harrison and he’s grown so much!
Get ready to see a CUTE little girl. This is the Milby family. Ryan and Amiee booked a session with me to photograph their 3-month old, Addison. Addison looks like the Gerber baby- big beautiful eyes, a chubby little tummy, and the sweetest demeanor. And I can tell Ryan and Amiee just adore her. I had so much fun getting to know this whole family!!
Meet the Haga family. Loulee, Eric, and little Emma joined me for a mini-session in Nashville this fall. We had a lot of fun- Emma found a stick twice as tall as she was and used it as a prop in most of the photos. She’s hilarious and sweet and so energetic!
